The AFP Komatsu PC290 LCI-11EO Intelligent machine was the first of its kind in Scotland, it has a fully Integrated system which is ideal for civil engineering, groundworks and construction projects. It’s built in GPS system allows greater accuracy and efficiency for customers enabling designs to be adapted on an ongoing basis. The Komatsu PC290 LCI – 11EO can also use a wide range of attachments similar to the standard Komatsu PC290 machine e.g. breakers, forks, pulverisers, hydraulic selector grabs, compactor plates.

Special Features

Over Pressure Unit – The cab air quality systems are used in machinery to protect the operator against polluted substances and gases released in remediation, re-cycling, compost projects etc. The fresh filter system prevents outside air from entering the cab and makes for a cleaner environment for operators.

GPS – The GPS system gives the operator exact grid references and depths to excavate allowing the machine to work independently with a built in design. Working in tandem with the site base station, engineers can upload various 3D models for the machine to work to, allowing greater accuracy and efficiency.

Attachments

Breaker – Paired with a Breaker attachment, is a dynamic combination for heavy-duty construction and demolition projects.

Grapple – Paired with a grapple attachment, the Komatsu PC290I-11 becomes a versatile and highly efficient machine.

Pulveriser – The hydraulic pulveriser is ideal for the demolition of concrete structures and buildings. It can be used in remediation and development works to segregate materials.

Hydraulic Compactors are designed for effectively compacting soil in trenching, ground levelling, embankment construction, driving in and pulling out posts, sheet piling and other formworks.

Shear – The hydraulic rotating shears are used for cutting metals into manageable sizes in order to recycle and turn into profitable income. It’s ideal for working alongside other attachments such as breakers and pulverisers on demolition, scrap yards and decommissioning works.

Magnet – The hydraulic magnet is highly efficient for segregating scrap metal and turning it into a profitable income source. It is ideal demolition sites, scrap yards and recycling facilities.
